Is car service available?
No, but our staff can arrange a taxi to assist you at any time.
Is there an airport shuttle available?
Yes, we have a complimentary airport shuttle on a request basis and must be booked with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Available between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm.
Does the Quality Hotel Elms have a bar?
Yes, we have the fantastic Fig Bar on-site serving your favourite New Zealand wines, craft beer and cocktails! Light snacks are also available.
Does Quality Hotel Elms have a restaurant?
Yes, we have the fantastic Fig Restaurant on-site.
From a sumptuous hot breakfast served in the Garden View Room to enticing light bites and creative dishes for lunch and dinner at Fig Restaurant.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (November - March)
Dinner: 5:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m
Does Hotel Elms have conference and meeting space available?
Yes! We have four distinctive meeting venues. Each venue features a contemporary design, plentiful natural light and the full range of conference technology. Whether you’re planning a corporate training day for up to ten people, a conference for 180 people or a one-off event such as a family gathering, a product launch or an awards ceremony, our experienced staff will provide you and your guests with a memorable experience.

Yes, we have a large car park and it is free to park here if you staying or conferencing at the hotel.
Does the Hotel Elms have a pool and/or spa?
No, sorry we do not.
What time is check-In and check-out?
Check-in is at 2 pm and check-out is at 10 am.

What is Hotel Elms doing to ensure safety in regards to Covid-19?
The health and safety of our guests is our top priority. We have received the COVID Clean approval from Qualmark NZ. The COVID Clean approval logo reassures any guests that stay or visit us, that we are a Qualmark awarded NZ tourism operator that is equipped with health and hygiene measures to help protect against COVID-19, in accordance with government guidelines.
Is Hotel Elms child-friendly hotel?
Yes, we have many families stay with us just for that reason! We can provide interconnecting hotel rooms plus also have a 1 bedroom apartment available. We also have a kid's menu in our restaurant and can provide portacots in the rooms* (*charges may apply).
Is the Hotel Elms a good hotel for business travellers?
Yes, absolutely! We have many business travellers stay with us. We provide complimentary UFB Wi-Fi, free car parking, complimentary airport shuttle, work stations in all accommodation and conference rooms and chargeback options.

What is the hotels smoking policy?
In accordance with New Zealand smoking legislation, no smoking is permitted inside the hotel i.e. hotel room, bar, restaurant, and public areas. There are designated areas outside for smoking, which hotel staff can help direct you to.
Is Hotel Elms a pet-friendly hotel?
Only for working support dogs as we are not set up otherwise to accommodate pets.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
You are able to cancel your booking up to 4 pm on the day of arrival.
Is free Wi-Fi provided?
Yes! UFB (ultra-fast broadband) Wi-Fi is provided for free with every booking.
